Strawberry Shortcake party: games and art

I painted each little hand pink and pressed it down for a strawberry

then took their other hand and dipped their pointer finger in green for leaves

finally their pinkie was dipped in black and poka dotted over the strawberry.
Rebecca had helped me the day before by putting buttons on clear plastic picture frames
[pink, red, green and blues for the boys].
We let the artwork dry and then before the kids went home we placed their
pictures in the frames and they took them home with their party favors.

Mom helped me occupy some of the kids with a ring around the rosie while I found the 'hot potato' bag

guess Kendra got that itch or wedgie taken care of - thank goodness we got that captured but I digress back to the party
Mom whipped me up a SS fabric hot potato and Nate played SS themesong from youtube while the kids tossed it around

thank goodness Amber helped the kids too - she does this everyday for a living -
I should have let her be in charge of the kiddos - what was I thinking?!?!

this was fun for awhile...oh note - Addison's skirt -
I found it at Once upon a Child a week before the party:  a Strawberry Shortcake skirt!! oh my!
